Dr. Brooks joined Immediate Clinic in Kirkland and Bellevue as lead physician in 2015. He has been practicing urgent care and emergency medicine for 12 years. He began his medical education by earning his doctor of osteopathy degree from Western University Health Sciences in Pomona, CA in 1998.
Dr. Brooks completed his internship at Firelands Community Hospital – affiliated with University of Ohio in 1999, in Sandusky, OH. Three years later he completed his emergency medicine residency at Lincoln Medical Center – affiliated with Cornell University in Bronx, NY.
Dr. Brooks’ practice history includes:
- Attending Emergency Room Physician at St. Clare, in Tacoma, WA
- Attending Urgent Care Physician at Harrison Medical Center, in Port Orchard, Belfair, and Bainbridge Island, WA
In addition to his extensive medical experience, Dr. Brooks is a member of the American Medical Association and Washington State Medical Association. He can speak fluent German, and has some medical Spanish knowledge. Dr. Brooks likes to spend his free time with his family, traveling, and enjoying the outdoors
