Hazmat Screening

Hazmat Screening

Some employers require Hazmat (hazardous materials) screenings for employees who regularly come in contact with hazardous chemicals or materials. Exposure to these materials may cause health problems such as:

  • Skin and mucous membrane irritation
  • Reproductive problems
  • Bone Marrow Changes
  • Impaired Liver and/or Kidney function
  • Changes in neurological/Respiratory/Cardiovascular systems

If you are a worker who regularly handles hazardous waste for disposal, you should be screened frequently. Medical Hazmat screening may include:

  • Health and work history review
  • Lab work
  • Physical Exam
  • Vaccinations
  • X-rays
  • …and more
