There are times in life when you can’t wait for medical care. Sometimes you call your doctor’s office and it is several days – or even weeks – before they have an appointment available. Waiting for an appointment likely means more days of misery. This is where urgent care clinics come in handy!
Immediate Clinics offer local walk-in treatment for a long list of minor injuries and illnesses when you need it. What’s more, our urgent care locations offer later evening hours to work around your busy schedule. And for even more convenience, you can choose a time that’s convenient for you and book online for same-day and next-day appointments.
If you're not sure whether urgent care is right for you, check our website to see what we treat, or read a list of the most common medical problems we treat below.
Illnesses and Infections
Urgent care locations offer treatment for multiple illnesses and infections. Our medical providers can diagnose you and provide you with a treatment plan and the right medication, if necessary. Here are just some of the most common illnesses and infections our medical team can treat:
• Colds and flu
• Strep throat
• Ear infections
• Eye infections
Cuts, Burns and Broken Bones
You can also get help with physical injuries at our local urgent care locations. All our clinics have onsite X-rays to diagnose fractures and sprains. The types of cuts, burns and broken bones we can assist with include, but are not limited to:
• Minor first-degree (and some second-degree) burns
• Sprains, strains and contusions
• Simple fractures (compound fractures where bone has broken through the skin should be seen at your nearest emergency room)
School and Sports Physicals
A sports physical is also known as a pre-participation exam (PPE) that assesses your health and fitness levels for enrollment in sporting events. During the examination, our medical provider will check for any injuries or illnesses that could make it unsafe for athletic participation. The provider will also complete the medical paperwork your school district requires for your child to participate in school sports.
Whenever you or your child needs fast medical care, our urgent care clinics are available to help. If you’re unsure whether we treat a particular type of injury or illness, give us a call. Walk-in visits are always welcome, or if it’s more convenient, find your nearest urgent care location online and schedule an appointment to skip ahead of the line.
